Treasurer’s Report (Tammy
Webb)- Tax returns went out; Bank account balance is in good shape, on track with budget
· Principal’s Report (Liz MacDonald)- November, Interesting
month, not much school; Kids were great at event with Dunkin Donuts and Million Word Kick off; Going to get Ipads and net
books/Laptops with $ from Dunkins; Potential change in Kindergarten Patrol; Checking to see if Kind kids have older siblings,
older sibs can go out with Kindergarten to make it easier for parents who have children on car patrol. Yankee
Candle came in; delivered today and tomorrow- broke even for scholastic news which was the purpose of fundraiser

Committee Reports
i. Fundraising Committee – Final Cherrydale Wrap-up/Spring Fundraiser (Chair:
Jenn Steele); Amy reported for Jenn, Weston made $10,456.80; Jenn is already working on Spring fundraising ideas
ii. Bingo Night Committee – Event Wrap-up (Chair: Karen Cusson)
– Bingo night was a great success, it was a nice change and people enjoyed themselves very much. Provided
our Holiday baskets with plenty of goods, Thanks to all who contributed.
iii. Holiday baskets –
Thanksgiving Wrap-up, upcoming Holiday (Chair: Lynn O’Donnell)- We were able to do 17 baskets to
our Weston families for Thanksgiving, plus another 4 baskets with the help of a local church; All can goods/foods came in
from the classroom participation; The Y program helped sort and stuff; We are going to do 20 boxes/bags for the December Holiday
iv. Fifth Grade Fundraising, Yearbook and Events Planning Committee (Wendy Hudson)- Meeting last Tuesday;
Came up with format, number of pages; Coupon books will be going home with 5th graders; Committee members Andrea
Haddad and Cindy Levine are going to go into 5th grade classrooms and discuss sales with them; Teachers have picked
out the 5th grade yearbook student members.
v. Box Tops, Campbell’s
Labels for Education, Tyson, Hannaford Helps Schools Dollars
(Co-Chairs:
Dee Kinney and Karen Poblenz) –Total number of BT collected for November 2547; Rankings are: 1st:
Boucher; 2nd Eaton and 3rd Phelan; Submission to be done in mid December. Please
check expiration date on Box tops when submitting. Please see attached sheet for more details;

Birthday Books (Chair: Anne Desaulniers) – Birthday books were distributed last week.
5. Unfinished Business
· Weston Gear Sales; Amy has chart of sales. We are done with
sales at this time.

Winter Outerwear Drive- Caroline Glennon has offered to help with this.
We would like to collect gently used coats of all sizes and ages for our Winter Outerwear Drive. More
details/instructions to come.
·
TIGER program – Tiger Program
is scheduled for January 6th. Tiger program is an anti bullying skit put on by college students.
There will be two assemblies in the morning.
·
Fundraising via kickbacks - We are
getting together committee chair and members, details to come. We are looking to come up with a chart of local companies who
honor kickbacks to schools on certain days of the month, we will then compile these dates and put them in a calendar of events
for Weston families to attend.
6.
New Business/Community Input

Sweetheart dance has been scheduled
for February 10, 2012; Many more details to come.
