Minutes: Agenda Regular Meeting

3. Reports:
President’s report: Kevin is letting agenda speak for itself; Told us of Ms. Brewster who was here from TF Moran
regarding Brennan’s site. Yankee Candles will be coming in Wednesday, tomorrow. 5th Grade
yearbook was sent in. Karen Problemz will be taking over the ice-cream social.
Correspondence: Nothing to report.
Principal’s report: Mrs. Mac
was at meeting so couldn’t attend, but relayed that our awards night for the NECAP testing would be May 19th.
Invitations coming soon.
UPDATED 5/17/10: AWARDS NIGHT for NECAP
testing originally scheduled for tomorrow night (5/19) has been postponed to beginning or mid June. The exact date
will be chosen soon and letters will go out to all students receiving awards shortly.
Treasurer’s report: Tammy reported on our current balance and our year ending balance. Tammy also touched upon
Yankee Candle funds. Also we received $1000. from Hannaford Help Schools. Weston won.
All of those receipts you brought in from your purchases helped with this cause. Great job parents.

Old Business:
Market America – Looks like we are going to roll out Market America. Market America is a website
where we can make purchases of their products or other sites hooked to this site. Weston will receive a
percentage of each purchase. For more details, please see website.
Officers – It is time to reassign PTO positions again. Becky Burke will be ending her time
as recording secretary and Amy Merrow will be taking over. All other positions are staying with the same
officers.
TR Brennan’s – Thank you to Deb Brewster, an engineer from TF Moran, who showed us potential sites/plans
for the development in the old TR Brennan’s location. The builders/developers are being very thoughtful
in their planning to make it a non commercial visual with lots of greenery
Teacher Appreciation
– Becky reported that the week was going very well and the teachers seemed to be very pleased.
Teacher Grants: Anne Desaulniers reported that we needed more money for Teacher Grants. We voted
to up the budget for this. Vote was unanimous in favor of increase.
