Agenda: Regular Meeting

1. Call to Order by Kevin at 7:05

Minutes from previous meeting approved by Jen Lenox;
2nd by Jess Hawkom
3. We had Doug from Cherrydale here to do a presentation, talk about sales, and a new promotion where the principal ahs
received a $200. check and also we received $200 in hard cover books from Cherrydale. Thanks Doug.
4. Reports
· President’s Report (Kevin Phelan); Busy month, not a lot of school time; We have the dance,
talent show
· Correspondence (Wendy Hudson); Nothing to report
·
Principal’s Report (Liz MacDonald); NECAP results
were very good. Not sure if it will get us to the status we want, but they were very much improved. All
our additional learning programs are helping; QAR, etc. Manchester school district has a new website in the works. It will
be very beneficial to all.
· Treasurer’s Report (Tammy Webb); We have roughly $13,000 in the bank now
and if all goes well we should end with a little over $4,000. This is dependent upon the spring fundraiser.
·
Campbell’s LFE (Dee Kinney); Nothing to report. Tops have been sent in. Teachers have received check from this.
5. Old Business
· Weston PTO Web Site Update (There is news!)
i. Proposal for service (Amy Merrow, Jenn Steele); Amy and Jen showed us their proposal for the PTO
website, and it looks really great. It should roll out within the next two months.

Tiger Program – Program is a great program,
but may be repetitive for our students. Going to check to see if they can mix it up a bit for next year.
6. New Business
· Sweet Heart Dance- Dance is this Friday. The cost is $1 per student.
There will be carnations for sale to help defray the cost of our 5th grade year book.

Spring Fundraiser- Discussions on what we should
do. Options are Yankee candle again or a coupon book. Going to check with Wendy Hudson to see what our
options are.
· Fundraising Committee- Jen Steele said she would head a fundraising committee to check out options
for next fall’s fundraiser. Do we want to stick with Cherrydale who has been very good to us or should
we go another route.
· School Department Committee Volunteers (Joe Briggs Letter); Joe asked for volunteers on this committee.
A sheet went around for volunteers. More details to come when they meet and how often.
