1. Call to Order 7:04 p.m.
2. All in attendance were: Kevin Phelan, Wendy
Hudson, Amy merrow, Anne Desaulniers, Tammy Webb, Michelle Carrier, Kim Overby,Jason Overby, Lisa Bernier, Liz MacDonald,
Melissa Carver, Jen Lenox, Garth Corriveau, Becky Burke, Karen Poblenz, Joe Briggs
3. Minutes from previous meeting were approved by Amy Merrow and
2nd by Melissa Carver.
4. Reports

President’s Report (Kevin
Phelan)-Kevin went over important upcoming dates.
· Correspondence (Wendy Hudson)-Nothing to report
· Principal’s Report (Liz MacDonald)-Mrs. Mac reported
that Basketball has started; The year is finally settling; The traffic situation is a mess due to lack of parking at Brennan’s;
Bingo night went very well; Thanksgiving baskets were distributed and Mrs. Mac was very pleased with what we were able to
give.

Treasurer’s Report (Tammy
Webb) Tammy allowed Wendy Hudson to report on our Yankee Candle Fundraiser first. Our current balance is
roughly $25,000; We have $7,000 outstanding bills; Tammy reports that Yankee fundraiser more than made up our lack from Cherrydale
fundraiser. We are not above estimated budget; Tammy recommended budget committee to meet again to re-evaluate
distribution of funds. Also brought up under this category is the TIGER program: are we having it again
this year since we do have the funds. It is a wonderful program and are looking to do it the beginning
of 2010.
· Campbell’s LFE (Dee Kinney)Dee was not here tonight but Mrs. Mac did make
a comment, that the teachers used some of the proceeds from the box tops $ to help fund(Split with Mrs. Mac) a writing program.

Hannaford School Dollars (Michelle
Carrier) Our funds are really low for this time compared to last year. We are only at $237.00 compared
to $900. The program ends December 6th. If you are holding any receipts please
get them in by this date.
5. Old Business

Weston PTO Web Site – Kevin
discussed this with Mrs. Mac and we are still waiting to go through the right channels to get approval for help from our volunteers
for the Weston WEBSITE.

Bingo night wrap up (Michele Carrier);
Michelle gave the report for Bingo night. The night was a great success again. There were 280 people in
attendance. We made a total of $1093.00 to fund our Holiday baskets. This total was
made up of a donation bucket, the raffle tix, and the lollipop game. Everyone is a winner at this Event.

New Business

Yankee Candle Update (Wendy Hudson)
Total sales were $11,009. PTO will get a check for $4400. The fundraiser is coming in
on 12/2/09. Please see note regarding two items which there is a shortage.

BJ’s membership program (Kevin
Phelan) BJ’s has a membership initiative where they are dropping the cost of membership from $45 to $35.
Weston will receive $5.00 back from these proceeds for every renewed membership and new memberships. Forms
are available and will be handed out as requested. See note home to students.

School Board and Alderman Invitations:
Garth Corriveau from Ward 6 Alderman elect joined us today. We discussed some problematic
areas at Weston. Garth listened and took our problems under advisement and told us that we are welcome
to call or email anytime. The next PTO meeting is scheduled for January 7, 2010. We
are expecting Ron Ludwig at our next meeting.
